Hallo Technikfreunde,

ich weiss, dass es ein Blinkrelais gibt, welches sich die Zeit zwischen AUS und erneutem EIN merkt und dies zur Intervallzeit macht. Aber hat sich eigentlich schon jemand Gedanken gemacht, wie man das im Original-Blinkrelais fest eingestellte Intervall per zusätzlichen Stufenschalter oder Potentiometer verändern kann? In unserem "Zweitwagen" Skoda Octavia gibt es einen Stufenschalter am Blinkerhebel. Den finde ich ganz gut. Er könnte aber auch in das Armaturenbrett gesetzt werden.

Yes I know what you mean.
You are talking about a relais from VW the 99-relais.

I used that relais in my 205 GTI some years ago.

This relais can not be used in the 107/Aygo/C1.

But I know another option.

Today I received a wiper switch which I bought on Ebay.

The standard switch only has one interval speed and this one has a variable interval speed option as an extra. You can set the interval speed in 4 "steps" from slow to fast with the extra "wheel" on the switch.

The only thing is that the LO option will not work for the rear wiper, you have to use the HI option for the rear wiper. So nothing changes for the rear wiper. Besides that this type of wiper switch will be an 100% plug & play modification for the the CityBug.

Saterday I will install the new switch and I will make an YouTube video of it to show this new mod.

Yes, it's 100% plug & play and I fitted it today.

"Der Preis ist heiß" ... Das Ding kostet ca.200€. Da kann man sich glücklich schätzen, wenn man einen kaputten Auris "ausschlachten" darf.
